How to pay online for a trip to watch a football match abroad
Following your club to an away game in a continental cup or watching a big match in Europe or the USA means several online purchases, many of them charged in dollars. With a virtual Visa card holding a dollar balance you pay for all of it in the browser and keep spending under control.

How do you pay for a trip to a match abroad with a dollar card?
A fan trip usually combines three online purchases: the ticket from the official sales channel of the club or organizer, the flight and the place to stay. Each site shows the charge currency on the payment screen: it may be dollars, euros or the local currency. When the charge is not in dollars, Visa converts the amount to dollars on the purchase date.
Guarapay issues a virtual prepaid Visa card with a US-dollar balance in about two minutes, in the Guarapay app or the Telegram mini app @guarapay_bot. The card works for online payments wherever Visa cards are accepted. It is virtual: it cannot be used at the stadium gate or on card terminals. Some merchants may decline cards according to their own rules, so check in the app that each charge was approved.
Where can you buy the ticket safely?
Buy the ticket only through official channels: the ticketing site or app of the home club, your own club when it sells the away allocation, or the competition organizer. Links sent by message, social media profiles and ads with prices that look too good are the most common route to scams.
Before paying, read the rules of the official channel: who can buy, the limit per person, named tickets and delivery method.
How do you pay for ticket, flight and stay step by step?
- Open the Guarapay app or the Telegram mini app @guarapay_bot and create an account.
- Issue the virtual card; the issue fee is US$ 10 on Standard or US$ 100 on Premium.
- Add up the expected trip costs and top up the balance with a Visa or Mastercard bank card in your own name or with USDT.
- Buy the ticket from the official channel and check the final amount and currency on the payment screen.
- Book the flight and the stay on the airline and booking platform websites, always online.
- Enter the card number, expiry date and security code, with the name as it appears in the app.
- Look for the notification of each purchase in the app, which arrives right away.
How much does it cost to pay for the trip with the card?
The prices of the ticket, flight and stay are what each site shows at checkout; Guarapay does not change them. On the card side, you top up the trip total, the 2% top-up fee is taken at top-up, and each approved charge costs US$ 0.25. On a trip with several purchases, set aside US$ 0.25 for each one.
On Premium the top-up fee is 1%. There is no monthly card fee. If you top up with a local bank card, your bank may add its own taxes and exchange rate; with USDT the top-up lands directly in dollars.
How do you plan the balance and limits for the trip?
The card has a monthly limit of US$ 10,000 on Standard and US$ 100,000 on Premium. Check that the trip total fits within the month limit.
In the app you set a monthly cap and a per-purchase cap, and you can freeze the card in one tap between purchases.
Leave a margin on the balance: some accommodation bookings place a temporary hold before the final charge.
Why was my ticket payment declined?
- Insufficient balance: it must cover the amount and the US$ 0.25 per-purchase fee. When the balance is short, the payment is declined and the money stays on your balance.
- Caps in the app: the monthly or per-purchase cap may be lower than the ticket or flight price.
- Frozen card: unfreeze it in the app before trying again.
- A name or billing address that differs from what the app shows.
- Try again after a few minutes and, if it still fails, contact support through the Telegram bot in the app or on the website.
What mistakes are most common?
- Buying a ticket outside the official channel out of haste or for a lower price.
- Counting on the virtual card to pay at the box office, the gate or card terminals at the stadium.
- Topping up only the ticket price and forgetting the per-purchase fee for each booking.
