How to spend USDT with a Visa card online

Updated on October 22, 2026

You do not pay the store in USDT directly: you top up a virtual Visa card with USDT, it becomes a dollar balance, and the card pays online like any other Visa.

Can you spend USDT with a Visa card?

Yes: you top up the Guarapay virtual Visa card with USDT and the amount lands as a dollar balance that pays online wherever Visa cards are accepted.

Once the network confirms the deposit, the USDT is credited in dollars at the market rate at that moment, net of the top-up fee of 2% on Standard or 1% on Premium. The amount credited shows in the app.

The card is prepaid and issued in about two minutes in the app or the Telegram Mini App @guarapay_bot. In practice it works as a crypto card: you top up in USDT and spend in dollars.

How do you top up the card with USDT, step by step?

  1. Create your account in the Guarapay app or the Telegram Mini App @guarapay_bot.
  2. Complete the identity check; it takes a few minutes.
  3. Issue the virtual card on the Standard or Premium plan; it is ready in about two minutes.
  4. In the app, tap Top up, choose USDT and the network, for example TRC-20, and copy the deposit address shown.
  5. In your wallet or exchange, send any amount to that address over the same network you picked in the app.
  6. Wait for the network to confirm; the app and the Telegram bot tell you when the dollar balance arrives.
  7. Use the card number, expiry date and security code to pay online.

Which USDT network should you use, and what if you send on the wrong one?

Use exactly the network of the address the app showed you: each deposit address is for one coin and one network only, and USDT is accepted on TRC-20 and ERC-20.

  • Pick the network in the app before copying the address, and send over the same network in your wallet.
  • A transfer on another network may not arrive, and Guarapay cannot reverse it.
  • If it happens, contact support on Telegram and send the transaction hash.
  • You pay the blockchain network fee yourself, in the wallet you send the USDT from.

How long does USDT take to reach the card balance?

USDT on TRC-20 is usually credited 1 to 3 minutes after you send it, as soon as the network confirms the transaction.

While the transaction is seen on the network and awaits confirmation, the top-up shows as pending in the app; once confirmed, the amount is in your dollar balance, net of the top-up fee. Some transactions go through a source-of-funds check before they are credited, and the app tells you if anything is needed.

What can you pay for with the dollar balance?

The card pays online in sites and apps that accept Visa: subscriptions, AI tools, games and international stores.

If the store charges in another currency, Visa converts the amount to dollars on the purchase date. When a store asks for 3-D Secure, you confirm the purchase in the app, and some merchants may decline cards under their own rules. A declined purchase takes no money from your balance.

You stay in control in the app: set your own monthly cap and a per-purchase cap, and freeze the card in one tap.

How much does it cost to spend USDT with the card?

  • One-time issue fee: US$ 10 on Standard or US$ 100 on Premium. There is no monthly fee.
  • USDT top-up fee: 2% on Standard and 1% on Premium, taken from the top-up itself (a bank-card top-up costs 5%).
  • US$ 0.25 per approved purchase, taken from the balance with the purchase; a declined purchase is not charged.
  • The blockchain network fee, paid in your wallet when you send the USDT.
  • No minimum top-up. With USDT there is no IOF, which your bank may charge on a card top-up.
  • Spending limit of US$ 10,000 a month on Standard and US$ 100,000 on Premium.

Can you withdraw the card balance back to USDT?

Yes: in the app you withdraw the balance in USDT to your wallet, and the withdrawal fee is shown before you confirm.

Double-check the destination address and network, because blockchain transactions are irreversible. If you close your account, the remaining balance can also be withdrawn in USDT, net of the withdrawal fee.
