Do you need a US address to pay with a virtual card?

Updated on October 24, 2026

No: at checkout you enter the name and the billing address shown next to the card details in the Guarapay app, exactly as they appear, not your home address. Issuing the card costs $ 10 once, with no monthly fee and $ 0.25 per approved purchase.

Do you need a US address to pay with a virtual card?

You do not need to have an address in the United States: the card details in the app come with the name and billing address that go with that card, and you copy them to the payment form. A site only compares what you type with what is registered for the card.

Cards work online wherever Visa is accepted, but each merchant has its own rules, and some may decline cards under them. If a form insists on something the app does not show, do not invent it: contact support in Telegram from the app.

What billing address do you enter, step by step?

  1. Open the Guarapay app or the Telegram mini app @guarapay_bot and open your virtual card.
  2. Copy the card number, expiry date and security code.
  3. Copy the name and the billing address from the same screen, including the postal code.
  4. At checkout, choose the country that appears in that address, so the country field and the address agree.
  5. Fill in each field of the form with the matching line from the app, without abbreviating or translating it.
  6. Confirm the payment and check the purchase notification in the app.

Why does a site ask for a billing address?

Many merchants check the address you type against the one registered for the card, as a fraud check; if the numbers or the country do not match, the payment can be declined even with enough balance.

That is why the address from the app matters: it is the one the card shows in the app, so copy it exactly. A declined payment does not take money from your balance.

How much does it cost to pay with the card?

  • Issue fee, paid once: $ 10 on Standard or $ 100 on Premium; no monthly fee.
  • Top-up fee: 2% with USDT on Standard and 1% on Premium; 5% with a bank card, on both plans.
  • $ 0.25 per approved purchase, taken from the balance with the purchase; a declined purchase is not charged.
  • Monthly spending limit: $ 10,000 on Standard and $ 100,000 on Premium.

Payment declined for the address — what should you check?

  • The name and address are copied from the app, not typed from memory or autofilled by the browser with your own address.
  • The postal code, the street number and the country match the app.
  • The balance covers the amount plus $ 0.25, and the card is not frozen.
  • Your monthly and per-purchase caps in the app are not below the amount.
  • Wait a few minutes and try again; if it still fails, contact Guarapay support in Telegram.

FAQ

What billing address do I use for a virtual card?

The one shown in the Guarapay app next to the card details, copied exactly, together with the name shown there.

Can I use my home address as the billing address?

Use the address from the app: a different address than the one registered for the card is a common reason for a declined payment.

Why does my browser autofill break the payment?

Autofill can replace the card address with your own; check every field against the app before you confirm.

Will the card be accepted on every website?

It works online wherever Visa is accepted, but some merchants may decline cards under their own rules, so check the approval in the app.
